The Lakeshore Management Scholarship Application 2024-2025

Lakeshore Communities, Inc., is a private operator of mobile home communities throughout the United States.  Taking care of these communities is Lakeshore's sole focus.  Our quality customer service and well-maintained communities are the keys to our success and our rapid growth. We also take pride in our incredible management team.  They are dedicated, trained and proactive.  Lakeshore Management, Inc. has partnered with Chicago Scholars to administer a scholarship for the benefit of employees' families.

The Lakeshore Management Scholarship serves to offer education support for legal dependents of current Lakeshore Management, Inc. employees.  The Scholarship will provide support of $5,000 per year for up to four years to students pursuing a 4-year college or university degree.
The Application
ELIGIBILITY and REQUIREMENTS
  • Current high school senior with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Legal dependent of a current Lakeshore Management employee; continued employment with Lakeshore Management required for scholarship disbursement and renewal
  • Come from a low-income household or identify as a first-generation college-going student (does not have a parent and/or legal guardian who has a 4-year college degree from the U.S.) AND have demonstrated need with regard to financing college education
  • Planning to attend a 4-year college or university in the United States

AWARD
  • $5,000/year, renewable for 4 years

APPLICATION PROCESS

Application due April 15, 2025 11:59pm Central

Complete this application, including:
  • General background information
  • Transcript (unofficial copy is acceptable)
  • 2023 household tax return
  • Financial aid award letters and/or acceptance letters from colleges you are considering (optional)
  • Two essays responding to the prompts included in the application.

SELECTION
  • Students selected for the scholarship will be notified by May 30, 2025.

Eligibility Information

In order to be eligible to apply, you must be a legal dependent of a current Lakeshore Management employee




In order to be eligible to apply, you must identify as a first-generation college student.


Please use your parent and/or guardian's tax documents to help you. The total gross income is the amount of money earned in one year from all sources before taxes. Add these amounts for all individuals living within the household. Please enter a whole number only. Do not include a decimal point or the form will reject your response.
