We will be honoring our Mentors this year and we need your help!
All nominations are due by March 10th at 11:59 PM CST
This is your chance to nominate your Mentor for the Mentor of the Year Award!
Please tell us how your Mentor has lived out the Chicago Scholars Core Values this year (We Dream Big, We Show up, We Model the Way, We Care for Each Other, We Embrace our Differences and We Keep Our Word).
The MORE you can tell us about your Mentor, the better! Tell us a story! If they are not selected for Mentor of the Year, they may be eligible for other awards so please tell us about how great they are!
We will also be sharing responses with your Mentors.
What is a Mentor?
A Mentor is a guiding and supportive figure in the journey of a Chicago Scholar! Mentors provide invaluable advice, share experiences, and contribute to the personal and academic growth of Scholars. Mentors participate in Chicago Scholars' programming by attending workshops, leading 1:1 meetings/cohort gatherings, providing personalized guidance, and volunteering their time with us.
Why should I nominate my Mentor?
Nominating your Mentor for a "Mentor of the Year" Award is a chance to express gratitude and recognize the impactful contributions they've made to your academic and personal development. Your nomination can inspire and celebrate the Mentors who go above and beyond to make a difference!
