2024 Emerge Career Partner Application

Thank you for applying to be an Emerge Career Partner for our 2024 Emerge Summer Career and Leadership Program.

The Emerge Program is a paid summer internship and personalized leadership development program. Emerge Interns will work Monday through Thursday at Career Partner sites, and on Fridays participate in career and leadership training growth labs. The cost of the program per Emerge Intern is $8,000, with Emerge Scholars receiving a $5,600 stipend at minimum for their internship and participation in the program and $2,400 going towards program costs.   • January 15th, 2024: Early Deadline
  • February 2024: Emerge Scholar Interviews
  • June 3rd, 2024: Orientation Week (Program Begins)
  • June 7th, 2024: Career Partner Mixer
  • June 10th, 2024: First Day at Work
  • July 26th, 2024: Emerge Celebration 2024 (Program Ends)

Partnership Expectations

To ensure a successful program for all participants, we ask all career partners to commit to the following expectations:

  • Commitment to Racial Justice, Equity, Accessibility, Diversity, and Inclusion (READI)
  • Agree to a 4-day work week, Fridays will be dedicated to Growth Labs with Emerge staff
  • Attend a one-time, 3-hour Career Partner Orientation on June 7th, 2024 and a 2-hour Closing Celebration on July 26th, 2024
  • Provide a high impact summer internship experience
  • Designate a supervisor to oversee Emerge Scholar
  • Complete Emerge Scholar Pre- and Post-Assessments
  • Complete bi-weekly check-in surveys
  • Provide constructive feedback to Emerge Scholar and Emerge Staff
  • Provide payment for orientation week and all Summer Growth Lab Sessions
