2023 Emerge Summer Career and Leadership Program Application

Welcome to the Emerge 2023 Internship Application!


Thank you for your interest in the Emerge Summer Career and Leadership Program. The Emerge Program is a paid 8- or 10-week summer internship and personalized leadership development program for rising Sophomores and Juniors in College. As an Emerge Scholar, you will work Monday through Thursday at our Career Partner site, and on Fridays participate in career and leadership training growth labs. Through partnerships, Emerge Scholars intern in various industries. Each Emerge Scholar will receive a stipend for the summer and access to a career coach and leaders in their industry. Please note some internships might be virtual, in-person, or hybrid depending on the role.


The application will open on October 10th, 2022 for all applicants.  The application will close on January 16th, 2023.

Timeline

  • December - January 2023: Application Review
  • February - March 2023: Emerge Scholar Interviews with Career Partners
  • June 05, 2023: Orientation Week (Program Begins)
  • June 12, 2022: First Day at Work
  • July 28, 2023: Emerge Celebration/Program Ends (Internship concludes for 8-week internship)

Timeline and Stipend
This program will last from June 05, 2023 to July 28, 2023. Emerge Scholars will be compensated in the amount of $5,000 at minimum for participation in the program and work performed at their employment site. This stipend will be taxed. * Please note dates may be subject to change due to the company’s preferred start and end date of internship. *
